A CALL TO ORDER BY KILER DAVENPORT

Call_to_order
We have forsaken God Almighty. We have turned our backs on the God that gave us life. We are eating each other up at the core. We have come to a place where God is no longer the center piece of our life. The word has been twisted and turned to fit our needs, our wants. It is used to build empires, mega churches, roads that lead nowhere.

The great pretenders we are. We put on the face. We act the part. We dance the dance. We sing the songs. But do we have a personal relationship with God. Do we understand our place in this massive place we call the universe? We are so divided, so independent, so hateful, so confident that we have all the answers.

There is one God and one way. That one way has many roads, many paths, hills, mountains, and valleys. We are so far from what God wants us to be. We have been taken over by our passions, our lust, our need for immediate gratification. Most are living in complete darkness. They have been given over to the passions they so ardinently desire. Even those who claim to be so holy will not leave the comfort zone to reach out to those who are hurting, destitute, depressed, alone, suffering, dying. It's a feel good thing. It's all about appearance, putting on the show so others will think your holy, clean, sober, and filled with the Holy Ghost.

One nation under God means nothing anymore. It is a scam, a hoax, a demented trick. It is something we hide behind. We are using his name to represent our crooked ways, our nasty thoughts, our dark and dangerous deeds.

The closer I get to him the more I am bombarded with opposition and hatred. The world wants me, science wants me. The secular world is at my heels. Goodness is all around me. I have reached out to my closest friends to help me through this. They are praying for me that I will find the way.

We are so afraid of each other. We are so distant, secluded, self protecting, selfish, and greedy. We do everything opposite of the Word and expect reward. We sin over and over and expect to be forgiven. It all makes very little sense. It is all very confusing.

I personally think evil, I mean pure evil, can be overcome with love. We can try. We can stay steadfast. We can commit ourselves to that worthy goal but in the process we must be careful not to be taken in or consumed by the very evil we seek to change. Some things are just meant to be. Some things will never change. Some things we must leave to God to solve.

Believers should stick together, work together. They should embrace each other and come to each others aid. Sometimes we make mistakes in who we reach out to. Sometimes we step too quick without thinking and praying and we get hurt. It is because we didn't go in with the full confidence that God was working in us and through us.

We cannot doubt our faith. We must put on the full armor of God and keep it on. We must be able to see beyond our circumstances into the realm of the spirit that leads us in this war zone we call the world.

True believers have much more to rejoice about than argue about. Much more in common than not. Our goal is to stay away from the fires of persistent and rotten evil. It is to band together and be strong in our belief. Not as a we against them thing but as a for the grace of God go I thing. We also much teach the world to sing in perfect harmony. We must live our lives in peace, harmony, and balance. We must strive to overcome the demons that seek to destroy our minds, invade our souls. We must truly believe that God is God and be willing to lay down our life for that  belief. We must treat others as we want to be treated. We must always be there to assist the brothers and sisters of the faith. We must not degrade and poke fun at other religions, systems, and organizations because we are all of the same species, the same origin, the same physical makeup. We breath the same air, walk on the same ground, bleed the same blood, and die the same way.

We must respect all of the teachers, profits, seers, apostles, and orators of the ages for they came to usher in a new time, a new era, a new way. They gave us all that we need to do it right. They warned us of the consequences of our actions. They gave everything of themselves for us, for our future. Now it is time to open our eyes and see. It is time to hear the message, the word, the story, the poem, the song that they put in our heart. It is time for a coming together, a unification, a revival, an awakening. It is time to put off the foolishness and seek wisdom and enlightenment. May God be with you all.

A Son's Last Goodbye by Kiler Davenport

Man_on_bench
Sitting there watching mother die is the hardest thing I know I will ever have to do in my lifetime. Her body swollen and ravaged, mangled, poked, and prodded. What else could they do to her? What else could I let them do to her? I wanted her to be my mother again like she used to be. I knew she was in there somewhere.  I hoped she could hear me when I told her I loved her more than life itself. Everyone in the hospice group and even some friends told me to tell her it was okay to go. Just whisper in her ear and tell her it is okay. At the time it sounded insane to me. All I wanted was for her to wake up and talk to me just one time. But all she could do is look at me with a cold glazed look. No expression what so ever. And sometimes when she heard my voice she would let out a moaning sound that broke my heart in half. If there could be a hell on earth this was it. I was living right in the middle of it. You are standing there pouring liquid into a tube inserted into her stomach. You are putting morphine and acetominaphen in her mouth. You are praying to God it is all a dream. Oh God let this be a dream. But it is not. It is real life and you have to face it head on like it or not. I wanted to take her place so bad. All that she had done for all of us and to have to die like this. It is not fair. I don't understand it and anyone that says that they do is an idiot plain and simple. The last thing anyone wants to hear at a time like that is "God has everything in his hands". You really just need someone to be quiet and listen. Just be there for you without lofty advice. You just want someone to share your grief and deep sorrow in that moment and time. I laid down beside her those last few hours. I kissed her on her forehead and cheek. I loved her with all of my heart but it would not bring her back to me. It was almost time now for her to go. The end of my world was coming and somehow I had to deal with it. Her temperature was 106 degrees farenheit. Her bowels were moving uncontrollably. Her eyes opened as we were cleaning her up. I screamed "Mother go on to Heaven if you have to. I'll be there soon to be with you. It is okay to go if you can." I held her as she took her last little breath and she was gone. My mother was gone. Oh God be with me and help me through this, Father. I put her favorite stuffed animals on her chest and lay with her for an hour or so. It didn't seem real. We cut a lock of her beautiful hair to keep. I still sleep on the pillow she died on every night and I will forever. May God be with you all in times like this.

AMAZING DISGRACE BY KILER DAVENPORT

Amazing_disgrace_flag
Broken, stripped, ravaged, enraged

We stand at the end of the line

Waiting for the crumbs of corporate greed

To fall down upon us

Sold out to the man, the machine

The ruling class faceless monster

With arms that reach around the globe

Devouring, subjugating, raping the land

And all that stands upon it

Masters of control

Demons of deceit

Wolves in sheep’s clothing

They come to destroy the independent man

With no soul and no body to imprison

They come like dense fog on a cold rainy night

They come without regard for life or limb

They come to own the very air we breathe

Our common lands bought and paid for

In blood, sweat, tears, pain, and death

They have intercourse with devils

To own and control the very strand of life

Of every species of the planet

They have the power to buy and sell the rain

To own the water that lays upon the ground

Beneath our feet

Like slithering worms in dark, dingy, deep mud

We the wage earner

Blind, ignorant, and hungry for more

We bow down and worship the machine

Like crazed animals in some cage of ecstasy and orgy

We feed at the trough of disgust

Our bodies run cold with these mindless manifestations

Synthetic sluts we have become

Pill crazed consuming maggots

Left to die and rot with the aftermath

Of this massive gangbang

Duped into believing we are free

Content with our stipend

Terrified at thought of revolt

We walk blindly into the light of darkness

We squirm and quiver in our comfort zones

We have submitted ourselves to these false gods

These ruling class pimps

We are whores ready and waiting

To be completely consumed and controlled

Who will come after us

What will they say of these unspeakable perversions

The prophet speaks

The black horse has arrived

The artist cries out

The poet mourns

The ground is getting closer

We are in free fall

Prepare to die

I hope on your feet fighting

And not on your knees in submission

I really know me

If you only knew me

The one you see is not me

Its only the one I want you to see

Its only the one I pretend to be

Do you think I'm happy trying to be

Who you want me to be

If you only knew, if you could only see

How much more there is of me

It would be nice to know why we

Play this never ending silly game

Sometimes I want to tell you I'm not the cat

For you to tame

Can't you understand that I a m

And you are you

Trying to control each other

Is something we should never do

Love is free

Not bound and tied

If I told you different

It would be a lie

Open the cage

And let me fly

Deep down inside I'm not the sweet little girl

You want me to be

So open this cage

And set me free

Don't box me in

Just be my friend

Neither one of us should have to bend and bend

To blend in

Love me for who I am

And not who you want me to be

I want to know the real you and you me

But that will never happen

Unless we set each other free

We can still be together

But independently

True love cannot be begged,

Borrowed, bought, or sold

It has to slowly grow

From deep down in the soul

It's based on respect, honor, and trust

Not dominance, jealousy, and control

Let's learn to live life to the fullest

Let's take each day one step at a time

Let me be me

HOSPICE AND LONG TERM CARE REFORM brought to you by UNITED CAREGIVERS OF AMERICA

LOOKING BEHIND THE MASK BY KILER DAVENPORT

Mask

What if you could somehow look behind the mask? Deep down into the dark places of those you encounter every day. What would you see? What if they could see you - down, dirty, naked, and bare. How would you handle that? Could you handle that? Why do we hide ourselves? Why do we pretend? Lies seem to work better. Less effort. Less confusion. Play it safe or people will run away. They do not want to know the real you.

What you see is what you get is a lie. I'm just me is a lie. No agenda is a lie. We are all on a sales mission. We put on the face. We dress up. We try to fit in. We strive to be a part of the game, the flock, the group, the fad. We have evolved into copy cats, mimicking birds of a feather, creatures of the mass habit, slaves to conformity.

It is so easy to see those who just don't fit into our little box of tricks. We avoid them like cancer. We hide ourselves from these misfits. They do not walk the same clean, comfortable, illusive path that we believe we are on. They do not fit into the mold we think we were cut from. They will not bend to the powers that be. The radical, the heretic, the hippie, the anarchist, the anti-establishment, the creative free thinker, the one with the purple hair.

This self constructed delusion. This shallow place keeps us safe for the moment. It makes us feel good, special, even enlightened. It enforces the concept of the I, the ME, the ONE AND ONLY. It fuels the fire of hate, prejudice, and self destruction.

All of the great prophets, teachers, and sages have taught to love one another, to love thy neighbor as thyself. We are our brother's keeper as hard as that may be to swallow. As impossible as that may be to understand. It is what we as a nation, as a people, as individuals must do in order to save ourselves from the not so comfortable state of sordid affairs.

It is our insatiable love of self that keeps us where we are. It is our refusal to open our eyes and see that we are interconnected, interwoven, constructed of the same material, elements, parts, and pieces. Its the illusion that pulls us off track. The we against them thinking; black vs. white; white vs. red man; white vs. muslim; straight vs. homosexual; rich vs. poor; smart vs. dumb; fat vs. skinny; and so and so on.

All of the problems we face as a nation today we caused and continue causing. We control our destiny. Our fate is in our hands. It is up to you and me to fix ourselves and the rest will take care of itself.

INFLICTED FICTION BY KILER DAVENPORT

Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4

John
It is as if we cannot live beyond this self inflicted fiction

We stubbornly stand firm in what others see as folly and foolishness

We believe the lies, the half truths, the propaganda, the political spin

Drowning in the dark sea of foolishness

Living as if there were no tomorrow

Getting all we can get while the getting is good

Devouring everything in our path

Our senses consumed with sorted pleasures

Deluded into thinking we are special

Believing the world was made just for us and us alone

We pillage, plunder, rape, rob, and ravage

Our most precious and only resource

Mating and multiplying like crazed animals

Eating her up from the inside out

Tearing at her precious skin

Poisoning the life giving air that she so gracefully gives us

We destroy her land, alter her landscape in the name of me, me, me

We are thoughtless in our attempt to drain her of every last drop

We want it all, everything, and we want it now

A giant thorn in her side

A nasty pest upon her back

An infectious disease deep within her bowel

There is too many of us, too much of us

She puts on a good front

As we pour, inject, spill, and pipe our digested matter

And toxic waste down her throat

We will not and cannot undo these dirty deeds we have done

Our offspring have arrived

Mouths wide open, trained and ready to rip her guts apart

Piece by piece and part by part

Mountains, valleys, hills, streams, rivers, planes

Glaciers, farms, and fields

We bend over, we bow down

We are enslaved by the corporate dragon

Each one of you, everyone of you, all of you

A captive, a whore, a subject of this monster

Who begs to be worshipped as god

Who demands your allegiance

Commands you to conform

Knowing your need for the easy fix

Betting on your addiction to buy now and pay later

Exploiting those sensuous pleasures

You constantly crave and desire

You are duped into this lusty contract

With the dark side of wicked men

You will not pull out of this gaping hole

You will not escape

The gravity of this massive machine

You have freely given yourself

All of you – mind, body, soul, spirit, and essence

You are on the inside looking out

Everything you do is done inside the machine

For the machine, with the machine

You sacrifice your children to the machine

You are food for the machine

You are fuel

Your offspring will keep it fed for years to come

I speak to you as one who has seen the outside

I come to you as one who knows how to kill this monster

I plead with you to come out of it

Save yourself, your children, your family

There are others like me

We do exist

We work inside the shadows

Our weapons go far beyond words

Our devotion is eternal

You will never kill all of us

You will never find any of us

Yet we are there

We know who we are

We know why we are

And we know where we are

Now go and feed the dragon

MARXIST MAYBE? BY KILER DAVENPORT

Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4

Equal
All men were created equal in the sense that they have the ability to deconstruct every other man’s truth. The founders of this nation knew that men would do this. They knew full well that Democracy would be a constant struggle and furthermore they expected corruption, tyranny, and abuse of power to be a constant threat to every state in the Union. For this reason we should all exert our power of reason and civility to overcome this urge to upset the balance and structure that would seek to destroy us.

We cannot live without a moral and just law. We cannot move forward with any assurance unless we return to the truths our forefathers held so dear.

Nations fall because of greed and excess of power. They crumble became those who oversee lose their sense of moral obligation and massive responsibility to govern in such a way that leads to prosperity for all citizens and not just the chosen few.

A NATION DIVIDED BY KILER DAVENPORT

Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4

White_house
A house divided will fall. Our nation’s house is falling. We are a people divided. Our hearts have grown cold. Our sense of community distorted and diluted. So many lost and lonely souls litter the streets in every town in America.

Many of our senior citizens have been abandoned and are fair game for a corrupt and profit hungry long term care system; our prisons overflowing with those who never had a chance. We do not deserve the right to call ourselves one nation under God for this is a perversion and even worse an illusion.

There is no one group to blame; no organization to point at; no individual to condemn. We are all to blame. We are all at fault. We all share a common responsibility for this mess we are in. We cannot and will not turn back the hands of time. Never will we return to the so called ‘good ol’ days’. The American dream was a hoax perpetrated by the industrial revolution to fatten the pockets of the elite corporate lords.

Our moral compass is shattered. We have lost our way like blind and deaf mutes in a dark forest. We stumble to and fro like stunned zombies we fill the streets, cities, and towns. All dressed up and nowhere to go. Our only hope is to dig in and ride this thing out to its condition. The process is eternal. The illusion tempered to your constructed reality.

As the sun rises and sets so we shall go on. As the planets orbit the sun so shall we endure. As for one nation under God we are not.

BITTERSWEET BY KILER DAVENPORT

Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4

Bittersweet
That we should love one another and forgive one another and comfort each other; these words are sweet upon my lips. But when I look out at the world the sweetness becomes sour and the reality harsh. I know that God is good and I know that he cares about each and every one of us. Why would God create us or allow us to be and then control us completely? What sense would that make? We are agents with free will. It is completely up to us what we do with this opportunity we have been given.

God is simple, sure, and eternal. Look at the simplicity of nature, the balance, the harmony, the unity. What a blessing and a joy it is to be a part of this wonderful experience. One cannot express with words this moment.

Mankind’s ability to think, reason, and ponder has been both a blessing and a curse. Sometimes for me it seems better if I would have been a cat, cow, or bug.

Human beings seem to have lost their way if they ever had one at all. Most refuse to be content and satisfied with the basics – food, clothing, shelter, safety, and security. Furthermore we all seem to be on a self destruct mission in one way or another. We eat too much, smoke too much, drink too much, and much more. We are violent, hateful, disobedient, seemingly never satisfied. Our divide and conquer nation is destroying us and everything around us. I am too tired of it all.

As I look out into the world I feel lost and alone. Many millions feel this way. Many take their own life because of it. It’s as if I woke up out of a dream only to find myself in another dream. I know what is possible but will it or can it ever be.

If you were honest you would see that human beings really don’t like each other let alone love one another unconditionally. Most will not admit that they are terrified of this world. Sickness, pain, sorrow, and death await us; the thought of heaven or hell or just being tossed out into this void somewhere. Some of you seem so sure in your thinking, so firm in your understanding. This is all foolishness.

The only thing I know for sure is that I know nothing and that God knows everything that is why I must trust in God for everything. We get ourselves in trouble when we leave God out of the equation. When we pretend to know the answer we divide ourselves into a million pieces. We cut off any chance to heal our wounds.

We did not come from ourselves. We did not create ourselves. How can we be so puffed up and sure of ourselves? This is foolishness. The million words of the prophets would sustain as if we would only listen. Most have taken matters into their own hands blinded by the self, distracted, and drowning in the material world.

I have personally sat with those who were dying and watched their face and their eyes as they passed. It was if they saw the face of God. It was as if he was waiting for them on the other side. This made me less afraid to die because I saw the light of eternity at that moment when they took the last breath. I have also heard men cry out for God as they died. I have heard men scream for forgiveness for all the dirty deeds they had done upon this earth. Without God we are nothing. Without God we will perish into nothing.

All that I know is from living we must all pass from life into death. We can only hope that God will be there waiting for us and know that we did all that we could to hold onto these truths while still alive and able to love, forgive, comfort, reach out, give and fellowship. All of your foolishness will be worth nothing at the moment of death. Your money will not save you. Your power will be worthless; your status null and void.

One never knows when that last moment will come but I can assure you it will and my hope is that you will not go out screaming.

TEN TO THE 59TH POWER BY KILER DAVENPORT

Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4

Nothing
As one looking out over this vast construct I must say with certainty that it boggles my mind this twisted maze of perfect harmony; the illusion of self; the abstract balance. To be confined in this space – time continuum is daunting to say the least. The observed and the observer; the complex and seemingly endless array of particles that surround us; the need to know, to unify, to put to rest this craving. Essence, form, utility demand our attention; it’s as if these things command conformity and even respect. Could this phenomenal appearance have life of its own? Did we come out of it or it us? One will never know.

If the global mind rules then where do I fit or does it even matter. My mind a string of incomprehensible sensory data marching in like soldiers knowing exactly where to go and most amazingly what to do. The chemical consciousness brigade mixing and mingling with God knows what to make me who I think I am. Who or what guides this chemical soup? Who puts it all together and say now you are you? Each cause with its effect and each effect with its cause; does one need the other are both the same. Just a long and continuous stream of external events made to order. And what about God, the I AM, the Word, the Alpha, Omega. These all require such presupposition and drama. Does the clay know the potter, the fish the fisherman, the reflection the one looking into the mirror? How absurd and self absorbed could one be as to think it really matters.

On our self absorbed and deluded conquest we beg to be special, to have meaning, to make our mark as small as it may be. We continue to ask the impossible question (WHY). Can’t we just be content with our little part, our unknown place in the game? Can’t we just learn to be present in the process, be absorbed in the means and not the end?

It is my conclusion that the end is the start of a new beginning so both are one in the same. You have been given and do possess the power to change, to alter the course of events, to move mountains if you will. So go and learn to just be in the present, in the now.

ONE NATION UNDER ??????? BY KILER DAVENPORT

The United States of America has become a nation out of control

A ship without a sail

We are completely without direction

And meaningful foresight

The halls of our Congress have become sorely corrupted

All in the name of the almighty dollar

That green god of this world has been the fall of many

To fall into outer darkness

We are eating ourselves up from the inside

The most dangerous threat to our security

Is our own selves

For men and women to fight and die

So the wealthy and powerful elite

Can fatten their already bulging pockets is a crime

Against humanity and should be punished as such

Our common citizens have been duped into holding up

Supporting, and in some cases even believing

The lies that are spun from this dark dungeon

We call one nation under God

Too weak, demented, broken, and enslaved

To rise up and take back what is rightly ours

We continue to feed and nourish the monster

We give ourselves to it like a lady in waiting

We have become satisfied with crumbs

From the waste on her table

We have gotten used to being second class

The enemy is among us

It is not some third world dictator

It is not some mad crazed group of terrorist

It is us who have freely given ourselves

Our children and grandchildren

To the wolves in this hen house

We call one nation under God

The two of us, what a pair. I come from such and such a place, did so and so, with you know who, and so on. You on the other hand do not come from anywhere, have not done such and such, and seem just to exist.

You will not even admit being human. But I like you anyway. There I go with that ‘I’ thing again. I, I, I; me, me, me. What can happen to make me more like, well you know, you.

When you come around and teach me all that I thought I knew flies out the window. It all makes perfect sense. We are everything and everything is us. WOW. What a concept.

The truth that hurts is the one that we know is right.

The one we hide our face from.

The one that keeps us awake at night.

The one that has been there all along.

It begs to be heard

Locked up in the dark corners of our mind

Surrounded by the I, me, it, they, them and we.

The truth, that all knowing, all seeing

Strange figment of the imagination.

The I Am, the Almighty, the one and only truth.

We cannot and will not touch it.

We will never know it or even be able to describe it.

It remains to be the only place that we can feel safe.

The truth, it hides in plain sight

Yet we pretend it is not there.

It moves the earth and keeps the planets in their orbit

Yet we refuse to acknowledge it.

It is the very essence of our being

The breath that gives us life.

The hand that reaches out to comfort us

In our time of need.

The soft voice in the dark that brings forth another day.

We study it, we deny it.

We analyze, contemplate, and ponder its mighty works.

All the while refusing to submit, to become one with

The I Am, the word, wisdom.

Just to be.

We are not the truth nor are we the way.

We did come from ourselves and cannot

Be sure we will live another day.

The truth it begs our attention.

It is now and ready, waiting and wanting.

When you set out on your journey to find it

You must stop and realize it is where you stand.

The air you breath, the ground you walk upon,

The bird in the air, the ocean breeze, the fire, the grass, the trees.

The truth always and forever with us.

Ready to take us up in arms and hold us.

Ready to make the way straight.

When you arrive into her place

You will see nothing

You will hear nothing

You will feel nothing

You will know nothing

For in her is everything

Which is the absolute, the void, the invisible made whole

The beginning of the end

Past, present, future all in one

Now go and seek this JOY

This peace, this place

This incredible something that

We so humbly call the truth

THE NATURE OF CONSCIOUSNESS BY KILER DAVENPORT

Self_destruction
We will continue on this present course of self destruction because it is in our nature. Cultures come and go like the changing of seasons. We cannot be anything but who we are. When one can sit back and observe as an outsider, then one has found a sense of enlightenment, a portion of wisdom. To see things from a distance is to see the foolishness of it all. The fads, the clicks, perks, special deals, relationships, dogmas, creeds, ideas, concepts, even colors, shapes, dimensions, space, time, matter.

Humanity is but a blip on the eternal radar. An insignificant moment in an incomprehensible thing we call reality. We use, we abuse, we squander and waste. Constantly on the lookout for ways to do it better, faster, leaner, and meaner. Always trying to get that advantage, that edge. We dominate our space, strangle with intensity, consume with a vengeance, a free for all of vane imaginings. In denial of our shortcomings, apologetic as we step on each other, and hell bent on getting there first.

Searching for G-D in quantum is like a small child sitting in the seat of a 747. Our technology primitive and unseen by the universe. Toys in the hands of mad men. Foolishness that will fade like a fallen leaf.

Our failure is in our quest. Our downfall in our ability to recognize ourselves and asked who are we, what are we, where are we. Our resources are limited. Our time is short. Our power feeble and misused. We suck the energy from each other. We are devouring ourselves from the inside out. We think too much of ourselves as if this was all a gift because we are so special.

We talk of one nation under G-D while dancing like wild whores with the underworld. We freely give ourselves to the darkness. Our brains are out of control craving more and more. The abnormal has become the in thing. The twisted has become our bed fellow. We shall not escape ourselves. We cannot put the pieces back together. We cannot turn our head and make it all go away.

Death will come sure and swift. It will devour us completely. It will take us down to that dark place where choice is not an option. Free will does not exist and second chances are null and void.

The time to act is now while we still can. The time for change is now in this present moment. Your opinion is like a bird with a broken wing. Your status a fool’s game. Your education a handicap. When death comes knocking at the door will you be ready. Can you say come in I have done my good deed. I have been the good neighbor, the good friend, the good boss, the good person. Can you say you are ready.
